cURL

    Since the last upgrade (wordpress & plugin) a clients website crashed. This was due to the fact that the server does not support external content to be loaded via “file_get_contents” (allow_url_fopen is set to false). I cannot get the hosting company to change this policy. I put the cURL method back in the plugin manually… but when the client updates your plugin automatically through WP admin then the changes will be lost and the admin will crash again. Just wanted to let you know, abandoning this method put some users in trouble.
