    Hi,

I moved away from yoast due to a huge bug in term of meta descriptions and woocommerce, and i installed your plugin now, which looks great, but im having a problem

Im trying to find my secondary languages sitemaps (in different languages) and i cant find them. I have installed the free version of your plugin, isnt it compatible with wpml?

    thanks
    Kind regards

You will find them based on how you set up WPML. If you set up WPML to use subdirectories for each language then you’ll find each sitemap in that same subdirectory format, i.e.

    https://mydomain.com/sitemap.xml
    https://mydomain.com/de/sitemap.xml
    https://mydomain.com/fr/sitemap.xml

    Hi Steve,

I went back to Yoast as i find a mid term solution whilst they fix their software. But let me tell you that i tried what you are suggesting above, and there where no sitemap, but a 404 error page on those urls on my site.

    Thanks
    Kind regards

That was just an example, you have to check your settings in WPML to see what configuration you have.

    Hi,

I know what you meant.. and that is the structure of my website, and it does not work.

    Thanks

    Hi Steve,

Regarding the sitemap, everything is working now, I must have done something wrong earlier.

BUT, whilst working on putting your plugin back to my site, I just notice your plugin has EXACTLY the same bug as YOAST.

check this page https://www.oxynergy.com/shop and try to find the metadescription….

For some reason the home page of the shop cant show up the meta description. The rest of the pages is fine, but not that page (in any of the languages).

    Thanks
    Kind regards

Side note: @jsmoriss please don’t do that again. I’ve deleted your replies, if you want to help with this plugin here then please do.

If you want to promote your plugin in other plugin in other author’s sub-forum then that will be deleted. Please don’t do that.

    Andres,

That isn’t what it means at all. He was a spammer, and Jan (forum moderator/admin) has deleted his spam.
Although we’d certainly love for you to upgrade, this is functionality that *should be in the free version you’re using. Either a) there’s a settings issue which we’ll help you sort out or b) there’s a bug which we’ll fix.

    Hey!

thanks for kicking out that spammer… he was seriously confussing me…

By the way.. i think my cache was playing dumb… I can see them now, but i want to be sure.. can you please guys check if you can see the meta description in this other link https://www.oxynergy.com/es/categoria-producto/todos/

    Thanks
    Kind regards

That is a product category. You can currently only set SEO titles and meta descriptions for Product Categories using All in One SEO Pack Pro which is the premium version of All in One SEO Pack.

    Hi,

I think my theme already has an option for this, so hopefully it will work fine.

By the way, I’m trying to find how to generate my xml sitemaps including images, but i cant find anything in the configuration.

And as a last question. What is it bettter, one sitemap with all languages mixed, or one sitemap per language… The reason why im asking you this is becuase All in one SEO does it the in separated xml files, but YOAST does it in one all together, and back in time i ask them and they said that all in one was no difference, but if any it was better as google knows what each url is for what language…

    Thanks
    Kind regards

Our Image XML Sitemap feature is currently in development.

I believe Google prefers one sitemap per language.

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for the info.

Im facing a new problem now.. Check the image attached, you can see that AIOSEO is not respecting the page title (just on the home page) but instead, is showing in all languages the page title of one of the secondary languages (spanish)

    Metas image

Would you please give me a hand? i can give you access to the installation if needed.

    thanks
    kind regards
