User selected category filter

Hi all,

I am new to WP, My scenrio is User will register to my site and during registeration process User can select multiple categories of their intrest, and when user login to website only selected category will appear that can be manage by user like user will able to add/edit/delete category.

Please guide is it possible in WP? Any plugin available that fulfil my requirements?
