International characters and space as thousands separator

    Hi,
    I’ve just installed Sunshine Photo Cart for my photographer friend and it seems very promising. I ran into some issues, though:

    1. The WordPress installation is in Swedish. I know there isn’t any Swedish translation available yet and that is no problem, but the invoice at the order page doesn’t display characters like ?, ?, ? and é correctly. It is displayed as junk letters (like ?¤, ??, ?? and so on). Is there any solution to this? (Luckily the e-mail confirmations are correct.)

    2. In the Swedish currency, space is used as thousands separator. How can I define this in the settings? Just typing a space won’t stick and   creates junk letters.

    3. On checkout, “State / Province” is a mandatory field but that is not used in Swedish addresses. How can I disable it?

    Last of all, showing the item price including tax would be very useful. In Sweden tax is always included when you talk about prices or what things cost, unless you are a business customer. I hope this will be available as an option in the future, as I read in another post.

  • 1 – I think I have that fixed for the next release

    2 – When I try   it does get saved. You don’t see   after saving, but the actual space is saved and it works.

    3 – Currently there is no way to disable the state / province field. Customizing the checkout is something I am working towards though.

    Showing tax in the prices is also something I have on my To Do list, but not sure when it will be done.
