    Initially you must submit the sitemap to Google Search Console.This is one time activity.After that if content on your website changes then Plugin notifies Google about it.Google knows that something changed so it visits the site.

    This notification helps in increased Crawl rate.Though Crawl rate depends on lot of other factors.
