List of all shortcodes?

Currently there is only [wix-hotels-rooms] and [wix-hotels-reservation-details]. Latter is used on “Thank You” page when booking is complete to load reservation details, so not very useful outsite that page.

Do you think there is a need for you to be able to embed search widget or availability calendar inside a post or page?

A big YES to that.

In fact, embedding an availability calendar in a post / page was going to be my next question. It would be very useful …

Clearly you guys are good developers as the work you have done so far is AWESOME.

Your setup pages are well laid out, clear and easy to use. It’s obvious that the “engine under the hood” has been well-written.

Your support is great too. You actually get back to people with real answers in a timely fashion (unlike some other plugin creators).

To make this the absolute best booking plugin in the world, you just need to implement a fe more things:

– Multiple booking calendars
– Embeddable availability calendars (shortcode)
– Ability to style / customize booking form

You’re the professionals, but to me this doesn’t sound like a huge amount of work. Being as good as you guys seem to be, you could probably knock it out in a hackathon weekend.

Also, due to some reason I am not able to upload the images to the room, it shows upload error. The images upload fine using default WordPress media options.

Regarding the booking calendar, currently we are showing it only within the search bar or as a widget, you can add a calendar as a widget to the sidebar.

Regarding the images, we are checking the issue and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

We’ve just release [wix-hotels-search-widget] and [wix-hotels-availability-calendar] shortcodes in version 1.6.2.

There are no documentation yet, we’ll be adding it soon enough. But for now here’s quick instructions.

[wix-hotels-search-widget] accepts layout parameter, for example [wix-hotels-search-widget layout=horizontal] or [wix-hotels-search-widget layout=vertical].

[wix-hotels-availability-calendar] accepts room_id parameter. It’s a bit harder to retrieve at the moment. You’ll have to go to rooms page, open room and copy the ID from address bar. ID is a sequence of numbers separated by dashes, like this: 7c353f65-bfbd-404a-942a-8ae2130f5573. It should be the last part of URL.

Final shortcode should look like this: [wix-hotels-availability-calendar room_id=7c353f65-bfbd-404a-942a-8ae2130f5573]

However, I feel it is not a complete solution.

I wish I could add lots more options.

Atleast in the description section I wih I could add basic HTML tags, <p>, <h1>, <h2>.

I have my rental homes listed on AirBNB, example:

I was looking forward to add various options.

I also tried AWE Booking , which provides really good options. I created the page here:

The only problem was I was not able to sync my AirBNB calendar with it. That’s why tried Wix plugin.

What do you suggest I should do?
