Multilingual Stock Problem
-
Woocommerce Multilingual creates alternative languages of a product by cloning and linking them. You can only edit master language and other languages are updated automatically. (except for translation required fields)
Normally if a product is sold its stock is reduced from all language variations.
However if stock is updated from this plugin it is updated from the currently selected language of the user and all other languages remain the same.
This makes all the different languages of the same product have different stock values.
So this makes a product “out of stock” for English but not for German. If you update the stock from the native interface the problem resolves but if you update from this plugin again it happens again.
It was flustrating to learn this on a live system.
