    Dear Duplicator’s fans

I am not able to create an archive with my site’s files.

In step 2 there is an information that there is some issue with files names containing special characters.

    The full information is:
File or directory names may cause issues when working across different environments and servers. Names that are over 250 characters, contain special characters (such as * ? > < : / \ |) or are unicode might cause issues in a remote enviroment. It is recommended to remove or filter these files before building the archive if you have issues at install time.

    and the path is:
    DIR 0
    []

I have checked my installation and I can not see any files or directories with incorrect names. So, in my opinion there is a problem with my serwer enviroment (btw on localhost it works very well), but I have no idea how can I solve this problem.

Are You able to give me an advice?

My fersion of Duplicator is 1.1.14

    Thank you for Your help!

    Dear support,

    Thank you for your concern.
I have found solution. This issue may occur in home.pl’s servers.

In similar situation for all users who cooperate with home.pl I recommend to change domain configuration and choose option “Turn redirected to a subdirectory WITHOUT separation of service”.

    regards

    Thanks for posting your solution!

    Hej @baast

    W takim uk?adzie w public_html stwórz kolejny katalog i w nim umie?? pliki wordpressa.

Nast?pnie w panelu home.pl zmień konfiguracje domeny, tj. przekieruj domen? na nowo utworzony katalog oraz wybierz opcje “W??cz przekierowanie na podkatalog bez separacji serwisu”.

    Pomog?o?

to nie trzyma si? k…, przecie? baza danych si? wysypie…, trzeba by by?o zmieni? tabele

    @baast

Je?eli przeniesiesz pliki do innego katalogu a ustawienia w pliku wp-config.php b?d? takie same (i domena te?), to dalej b?dziesz si? ??czy? z t? sam? baz? danych.

    …dzia?a, dzi?ki wielkie…
