Trouble importing photos

I have recently decided to switch from my wordpress.com site to a .org/self hosted one. I didn’t have much difficulty with the whole process except one thing. When I upload the .XML file that I exported from my site onto the www.ads-software.com one, my images are not transferred over. All my posts are there. Just not images. I have done the process 3 times with no change. It just lists all my photos as “Failed to import”
