Prime symbol and pretty fractions

If I place a prime symbol after a fraction, the wp-typography styled fraction goes away and I get a full size number and slash. If I place a full word space between the number and the prime code, the fraction stays styled but now I have a word space.

Is there anyway to get the fraction symbol AND the prime symbol right after it? This is for a printer’s web site, where we want to display measurements in half and quarter inches.
