    Hi Julien,

I have found and unfortunate, and for me serious, issue.

I am running WordPress 4.5.3 with the Kleo theme.

When AwesomeSupport is active (i have disabled all other plugins to ensure this was not a plugin issue) I am no longer able to view media that was added to WordPress.

In either WordPress editor or VC I am no longer able to click Add Media and see any images under Media Library tab that were uploaded whilst the plugin was active.

I have diabled all caching, cleared cache and disabled CloudFlarere, further, I have also saved my permalinks as post name. When I view an attachment within a ticket it opens as domain.com?wpas-attachment=49 is this the correct behaviour?

Thanks in advance for your response,

    Regards,

    Kieran.

I forgot to add the following

When the Awesome Support plugin is disabled the issue stops and media appears / can be selected again.

    Hey Kieran,

Regarding the URL for attachments, it is indeed the intended behavior.

Regarding the other problem, I believe this is what you’re talking about: https://github.com/Awesome-Support/Awesome-Support/issues/323

    Hi,

I didn’t even think to check Git, my bad! That appears to be exactly the issue.

No problem Kieran. At lease the GitHub issue is referenced here now.

We will be working on fixing this issue in the next minor release.

Hey, Julien… when you say “We will be working on fixing this issue in the next minor release.”, are you referring to the Media library issue or the github issue?
    Thanks

Not sure I understand your question rodbrant. The GitHub issue is about the media library bug.

I guess I don’t understand Github. Is it a native part of Wrodpress? If it is, then the next release may solve my media library issue.

But, as far as I know, I’m not running GitHub on my WP installation, and I am having the problem with my media files and Awesome Support.

I’m sorry, I’m a little over my head here…I just know when deactivate Awersome support, media shows up, and when I turn it on: no media.

Any help you can give is appreciated.

    Rod

Having the exact same problem with media files goign missing because of the awesome support plugin. Hoping this bug gets fixed soon.

You might also want to warn about not attempting to delete the duplicates form media library. This will break the remaining images and completely messed up our site. Wouldn’t use Awesome Support as long as this bug isn’t fixed.

GitHub is a version control system that we use to develop Awesome Support. It also has a built-in issue tracker where we report bugs that have to be fixed.

The link I added earlier is a link to the bug report for this media issue. What it means it that this bug will be fixed in the next version of Awesome Support.

Hi Julien, when can we expect the next version of Awesome Support? The issue is there since the last update 2 months ago, whereas the impact of the bug is not small.

I understand that, and I apologize for this taking longer than expected. I will do my best to work on this next week.
