No font options in TwentyThirteen?

    Hi,

    I’m trying to alter the fonts in TwentyThirteen. I have both the Styles and TwentyThirteen Styles plugins installed and active. I can change the size and colour of the text, but the field to input font names is blank and I cannot type into it. (This is true everywhere, not just under the global tab.)

    Do I need another plugin to activate fonts? Or do I need to make some other change? Is this problem unique to TwentyThirteen?

    I don’t want to do anything really advanced, but I’d like to have Book Antiqua or Palatino as my global fonts rather than WP’s choice for the theme.

    Any advice gratefully received.

    (If it makes a difference, this is a multisite website.)

    Sounds like a plugin conflict. Try disabling other plugins to see if something is causing an error. If that doesn’t work, try another plugin. I am unfortunately not yet able to provide remote support at this time.

    Styles appears to be in conflict with the GeneratePress theme and/or the GP Typography add-on. Unfortunately, this is a multisite where I am using GeneratePress for a different site then the one where I want to use TwentyThirteen/Styles. The site with GP works well, so I’m going to choose to delete Styles and find another theme and solution for the site where I wanted to use it.

    I now regret setting up a multi-site. I don’t find it has saved me so much time when it functions, and problems like this make for a great deal of extra work when it doesn’t.

    This is not Styles’ fault. I continue happy to recommend Styles to single-site webmasters.
