    Hi there,

Well, not out of the box. As a workaround, you can use a PHP ‘adapter’ file that would have this random logic, and output the data in a form of serialized array. Then you can use this serialized array as an input source for wpDataTables.

Sorry but I don’t have any knowledge of adapter file or serialized array. can you please show me an example or something ? or may be a shortcode which would display just first 4-5 rows.

    Hi,

‘Adapter’ is a way to call a PHP script that would read the data that you need from the source, parse and reformat it in the way that you need. I could of course show some code examples, but if you do not know any PHP I’m afraid this wouldn’t help much.
