Different Name (Same Product and Inventory)

Hi,

We are trying to sell an item being recognized as different. For example, Old customers knows that the product is called “Product A” and can be found in “Category A”. New customers on the other hand knows that the product is called “Product B” to be found in “Category B”. I would like to put the item on the website as different products but same inventory. So for example “Product A” will have inventory of “10 pcs” same as “Product B”. When a customer buy “3 pcs” of “Product A”, both inventory will be reduced to “7 pcs” (and vice versa).

I tried duplicating “Product A” and renaming the duplicate to “Product B”. The SKU remained the same but when I adjusted the inventory, the other product didn’t update.

Is there a way to implement this? Please advise. Thanks!
