Paypal payment option not working properly

  • I’m using woocommerce to build my new online shop and I’m experiencing an error with the Paypal payment on my website. Everything is properly set up on my Paypal Woocommerce settings (I already contacted Paypal and all the info that I need to process the payment is there). When I check out, if I try to use Paypal as payment method, it will automatically skip to the Stripe payment for credit cards. I can only pay with Paypal if I deactivate the rest of the payment options…

    I checked with a developer and they said there must be an error on the theme or woocommerce that automatically chooses the rest of the options as preferred payment methods over Paypal and I thought you guys might have an idea of what is going on here.

    I already tried checking with different themes (even the original from wordpress) and also checked with the theme support, but they said there must be a problem with Woocommerce.

    Are you using a PayPal extension, or just the WooCommerce core paypal standard method?

    It definitely sounds like something is conflicting with WooCommerce here.

    Try temporarily switching back to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme, or Storefront, and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    Yes, I’m using the WooCommerce core paypal standard method.
    I already tried changing to the Twenty Sixteen Theme and disabling all the plugins but it still won’t work ??
    How can I detect what is conflicting with WooCommerce? ??
