• Hi i have a slight problem. I converted my original site not log ago over to wordpress. Before conversion i was at the top in google searches as it was just my name.

However since making the switch my website has gone from being on google to not appearing in google at all. I was just wondering whether this is a common problem and if it is can it be solved?

WordPress is great for SEO. Google likes us just fine.
Have you considered that your site itself isn’t optimized for search engines? or that not having any content on it may not be very helpful?

yep, google has updated your site, found a distinct lack of anything (except a mountain of 404 errors, I’m betting) and decided that your site simply isn’t what it used to be.

That shouldn’t be any surprise to you, really.

Oddly enough, the answer to both his questions is yes.
It is a common problem (just not because of WordPress) and it can be solved.

Hi can you please tell me how i can solve this problem. Because google cant even verify my website but it will verify my other sites.
And i have no idea what 404 errors there were if any to be honest. It’s been the same for a very long time.
