Profile picture during registration

  • Try giving the file upload field on your registration page the meta key name profile_photo.

    A second option is to redirect the user to his/her profile page after registration and login to encourage its completeness. There is also an extension, Profile Completeness, that encourages users to complete their profiles:

    Thank you for the reply. The first option doesn’t work because that meta key name is already reserved. I’m trying the second option but I can’t find the place to make that change ??

    Thanks for letting me know. The second option may be configured under Ultimate Member -> User Roles -> Registration Options. You may redirect the user to his/her profile right after registration there.
