    – Installed Zerif Light theme so to do a quick one hour website !!
    – It wanted to use Pirate Forms for the contact us form so I installed it
    – I set everything up and couldn’t get it to work out of the box, form would say submitted successfully but never get email
    – Read postings here and tried various options but nothing.
    – Now using Postman SMTP plugin, test message from Postman works perfect and I receive the message from website. Submit it through the actual form and it shows as being sent in PostMan but I never get it. Thoughts? Before I call Bluehost I want to have more solid evidence as the fact that Postman works fine on the server but when Pirate Forms send through Postman it doesn’t tells something. I do notice that Pirate Forms doesn’t appear to be formulating the FROM properly. Its taking the NAME of the person submitting the form and combining it with the email configured.
    – Email account i’m using matches the domain name

  • That’s weird. Could you email us at friends@themeisle.com, with the link to this thread, so we could take a look?

I ended up moving away from it. Working with the hosting provider we validated that mail was working fine on every layer except when sent using PirateForms. We have to assume some content or header make up is causing the mail to get blocked and destroyed by filters. A quick google determined that there were plenty of people with same issue with these plugins.

    Hi,

Whatever works for you, we’re glad to know that your site is running without an issue. And we will investigate to see if there’s anything we could do to prevent that. Thanks for the info. Have a great day. ??
