Columns not working

I have installed the sidebar lite and create one row with the 1/4 columns. All of the columns are aligned “vertically” to the left. I would place my url in this support area but I do not know if it would be acceptable. The site is an event site and it is not offensive. I realize it may be a theme issue but event when I try try to use the firebug css thingy… I cannot get the css to assist. Also, I purchased the pro version but it will not activate on my multi-site. Thank you for your support in advance.
