Permalinks & RSS

  • Hi there
    I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve spent almost 4 hours trying to figure this out.

    I have my wordpress installed in a “wordpress” folder on my server.

    I want to change my urls from site.com/wordpress to site.com/news/date/title

    I have tried fooling with permalinks in admin, but I think I confused myself even more.

    What do I need to do to get this straight? I’m about ready to pull my hair out…lol

    Also, I am wanting to include just the posts on my front page, minus the header and footer, but my front page is a html page. I can’t rename it php to do an include or else it will break my site. What are my options on including some sort of feed on my front page of just the posts?
