Similar to the post of jmortell one month ago (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/setting-open_basedir-causes-invalid-path?replies=3), I have run into a such a problem:

In the PLESK environment (hosted on a Windows IIS server), there are daily several warning reports in the log files, like these:

PHP Warning: is_readable(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(C:\ClientSites\transmissible.eu\httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/C:\ClientSites\transmissible.eu\httpdocs/wp-content/languages/plugins/tribe-common-en_US.mo/tribe-common-en_US.mo) is not within the allowed path(s): (C:/ClientSites/transmissible.eu\;C:\windows\Temp\) in C:\ClientSites\transmissible.eu\httpdocs\wp-includes\l10n.php on line 556

The moderator mentioned that this may perhaps be solved in a next version. Is there any news on that? And what would you advise me to do in the meanwhile? (is this a fatal warning?)

    Thanks in advance

    Arnold

  • Hey Arnold,

Can you try downloading/activating this plugin for the time being? It was provided in an answer from this thread you recently created in our Pre-Sales channel.

I can’t seem to find anything resembling the error shown in our changelog, so I imagine it’s still being worked on. Sorry I don’t have any more concrete information for you at this time and have a great week.

I have just updated the PRO (and standard) version og Events Calendar, and ended up with the same message (https://www.kerteminde-sejlklub.dk/) in line 476.
    Also running on windows server.
Is the “tribe-common-domain-fix” plugin also to be tried as the temp solution in this case ?

The plugin installed, and the error messaged disappeared, suppose it means that the problem/error was solved or circumvented by the plugin.
The link above will not show the error text.
