Responsiveness: undesirable sidebar location underneath content on narrow screen
-
Hello! I am using a Fluida child theme with no real divergence from the original yet. The site I am using it on for a customer is https://www.interfaithfreedom.org.
I am using two sidebars which appear underneath the content on a 1280 pixel width. This does not happen on a 1920 width screen. I noticed that the appearance of the site on the 1280 pixel screen seems to correspond to tablet view for the website, even though the 1280 pixel width screen is on a desktop.
My assumption is that this is due to the theme’s responsiveness rearranging the page for screens with narrower widths. If this is indeed the case, I would like to know how to disable responsiveness so that the sidebars appear on the sides regardless of the screen width. I have found lots of CSS tweaks dealing with this kind of problem, but they were all specific to other themes. I not very familiar with CSS, but I’m not afraid of getting under the hood, so I thought I would try asking here.
If anyone has any ideas that might help me, I would greatly appreciate the advice. Thanks!
