    @dimaxwine,

    1. try to switch to default theme and see if issue depends of it
    2. try to disable other plugins and see if issue depends of it

    Also it could be your server hosting config.

    I’ve already tried this steps. I noticed there are the same cases in the support here. May be there is something in the last version of the plugin?

    nope.

    There was only UI changes — no processing changes.

    If you can not repeat it on another host/plugins combinations then this clearly states, that this issue is environment-dependent.

    I use this plugin for about 4 months and it worked normally before the last updates. I don’t think the problem is in the server.

    404 error is a server error, not even wordpress error.

    Research your server’s error logs and server’s php error logs.

    It should say what caused this.

    Hello,

    I’m also having the same issues – after a while of using it, we get the 404 error when trying to update our changes? Its fine to start with

    Very puzzled.

    Just sent you a PHP log and a separate email.

    Alexander – I’ve fixed my issues, it was something on the server end that was causing problems. All seems OK now.

    Thanks for taking the time to reply and look into the issue.

    Adam, what concretely?

    May be your fix will help @dimaxwine too?

    Ok, I will compare both phpinfo’s with something standard and will research it.

    This is what my hosting support said…

    I had to whitelist a mod_security rule that was incorrectly triggering with the update.

    Hope this helps ??

    @adamrj01, but on what was compalints from those mod_security?

    Too much size for one variable or some bad chars?

    If it’s next “too much” limits issue then I will cry on the wall.

    This is what the host has said in relation to your query…

    The mod_security rule was part of the SQL injection rule set, being submitted to the post.php page in wp-admin.

    @dimaxwine,

    I compared both phpinfos and found that yours differs in these:

    * you have APC module
    * you have zend guard module

    Most possibly zend guard can have some settings, that break things under some conditions.

    I suggest you to repeat the issue few times, then write down current time and ask hosting about the errors in logs at that time.

    They should give you more detailed info.

    Hello!
    I’m in stuck in the same problem as dimaxwine.
    People around me got the same problem.
    I’m a common user, not a developer.
    Could you update this plugin with this problem.
    Just hoping…
    Anyway Thank you ~
