make free shipping default in stead of local pickup

    Hello Jeroen,

    We are using your plugin with pleasure and it works very well. However we ar puzzling with a little issue.

    When people add articles in the cart that does not reach free shipping, by default shipping is selected and not local pickup. That’s because of the order I set up in Woocommerce.

    But as soon as people have enough for free shipping and the advanced free shipping plugin becomes active, the cartpage displayes by default local pickup and the shipping has to be ticked.
    But because 95% of the customers want to have shipped their goods we want by default the free shipping option and not pickup.

    Because I can not order the advanced free shipping in woocommerce settings, we wonder how that can be changed? Maybe via priority? But then… what kind of code do I need and where to place.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately there’s no way to order the shipping rates between the WC-Zones shipping rates..

    I’m still looking for a good way to integrate this plugin with the WC Zones, that should ensure you can order them, but for now I don’t think there’s a solution available unfortunately ??
    (to clarify a bit: due to the way those Zones work its quite hard to add support for a dynamic plugin like this, most plugins only need a few textbox settings which is a whole lot different)

    WC completely removed the priority in the 2.6 update too, so that system isn’t available anymore, but I’m also looking into this to see if its a possibility to bring back in the plugin (already experimenting with that).

    Sorry I can’t give you a better answer / what you were hoping for.

    Hi Steven,

    My previous reply still hold in the current situation.
    I’m experimenting with a development version of my Advanced Shipping?plugin that includes WC Zones support, which may also come to AFS, but its not released yet.
