plugin is deleting itemprop="position"

    It is stripping itemprop from the meta tag as it is not in the supported/approved attributes list for the meta tag. Seeing as Schema.org BreadcrumbList using the microdata format (rather than the RDFa version that is supported out of the box by Breadcrumb NavXT), I’ll add it to the supported attributes for 5.5.0.

    By the way, I’m not sure why you are using the microdata format rather than RDFa (for Schema.org BreadcrumbList), especially since Breadcrumb NavXT natively uses the RDFa format.
