Query regarding designing the front page

First of all, thanks for making such a great plugin, it’s very flexible. What I am trying to rebuild my front page design. WordPress current default is set to show ‘Your latest Posts’ which I need to switch to my custom designed page by live composer. The problem I am facing is:
1) The blog section doesn’t shows the images unless I go and choose a ‘Featured Image’ for every post, which is a hectic thing. There are over 100 posts and if it can simply fetch the first image of every post, that would be awesome.
2) I am scared of loosing my permalink structure which is currently set simply to https://www.friedcoffee.com/%postname%. I just want to add few sections to my homepage with blog posts below that section. The navigation is going to be the same and all other things too. If permalink disturbs, the whole current traffic will fade.
3) Is the page name going to display after setting the page to front page, because it’s looking as a ridiculous thing?
