Install Script Not Running

  • Hi,

    I just uploaded 2.5.1 to a new brand new site, created the database and user login and changed my config file. However, when I run the wp-admin/install.php file, I get a blank screen. I’ve run this on other installations but I’m having an issue with this one. What should I check?

    The site (www.ultraportablereviews.com) is on the same hosting platform as other domains that I have running with wordpress, so I don’t think that is it. Are there particular server settings I should set in Plesk?

  • On Plesk versions, running on windows servers, make sure you check the box to make PHP run as ISAPI extension.

    Make sure PHP is on.

    If that isn’t it try uploading the files again. Using FileZilla, use automatic mode and other FTP clients upload using ASCII mode.
