Hi, I recently discovered that I had 1.2million items logged which ballooned by database by about 140mb. I cleared the log but the 404 to 301 table is still 88mb in size. Why is this and how can I clear it.

Note: I don’t have access to the DB through MYSQL or any other db editor.

    Thanks.

    Hi Ardshael,

How did you clear the logs? “Delete Selected” or “Delete All“? Can you copy and paste few error logs 404 Path here?

I used Delete All to clear the logs.

Sorry, there are no more error logs since I deleted them all.

    Hi,

If you have cleared all logs, it should be empty. How did you know that it is still 88MB? Do you use any plugins for that?

If you are getting a lot 404 errors from wp-content/, just add this to exclude path option. Usually wp-content errors will not affect your SEO badly, and these errors are being created by your plugins or theme.
