Sitemap settings

    I have 3 different sites with The SEO Framework plugin installed. On one site the ‘Sitemap settings’ only shows 3 tabs General, Timestamps and Ping. The Robots.txt tab is missing.
    I have deactivated, deleted and reinstalled several times and I cannot get the missing tab to show.
    I set up a new domain (the fourth), clean wp installation, installed the plugin and all 4 tabs show correctly.
    How to I get the missing tab to show?

    All 3 sites are very similar, all use twenty sixteen theme, jetpack, and all up to date with latest versions etc.

    Hi Paul,

    The robots tab is removed when an actual robots.txt file is found in the root folder of your website.

    I understand the confusion (especially if you have more sites).
    I’ll see if I can make a visual notification in a future release ?? (2.7.1+).

    Hi Sybre,

    I deleted my robots file via file manager in cpanel and now the robots tab shows.

    I must have added a robots.txt file at sometime.
