After the last SEO update I have been trying to track down sudden 404 codes on about 5 websites.
After disabling everything on each site and experimenting with different configurations. Every single instance the websites functions perfectly when YOST SEO is inactivated:
Common Plugins on the sites: CloudFlare, WT3 Cache.
PHP: 5.6 and 7.0 (same problems)

Symptoms: Erratic ERROR: This is not a valid feed template. 404 Codes on Custom Slugs, Posts/Taxonomies/etc.

Plugins effected: (Isolated/not run on the same sites)

    Intense Short codes (CTP)
    Sermon Manager for WordPress
    Post Type Builder.

Note: WT3 Cache was deactivated with no change. All custom slugs worked in all instances when Yoast was deactivated. The tweaks that I know of in Yoast did not make any differences.
These websites do use CloudFlare, but I have not had any issues with CLoudflare with this plugin until recent updates to Yoast.

I am going to resolve this. Apparently one of the plugins mentioned had issues with proper slugs.
