I have a multilingual website with woocommerce and polylang.

When in English language, the bpost popup always stays in french… could you guide me on what to do?

Link to the website: https://www.ideato3d.be it can be easily verified online

Also i think it should display that the shipping is for free instead of not displaying any price

And lastly it would be great if the plugin was able to generate a label even if the customer didn’t choose bpost !

  • Dear,

There might be a configuration problem of your polylang plugin. On your webshop, in French, the cart page and checkout page are displayed in English, so when finalizing the order process and entering bpost, bpost receive English information and is by that way the pop up is in English.

What version of bpost plugin are you using – normally it shows price information “as from Free” before knowing the delivery adress.

Lastly, bpost plugin cannot generate label if you do not use it as delivery method because in that case bpost do not receive order and delivery information.

Hope this help, let us know.

    Dear DidierKL,

Any news regarding this? Your website still displays mix languages on checkout page…

I’ve made some tests and on my side the bpost pop always display in english…
It is for sure a polylang config issue.

Can you please give us an update so that we can close the ticket.

    Thanks and best regards

So yes i changed the default language to have it in english all the time (instead of french).

There is a problem with polylang indeed, for the moment i have not looked of if polylang pro would solve the issue.

Anyway the other “issue” seems to be with free shipping not displaying correctly on the bpost plugin.

For example if you go on the website and have at least 200€ in the cart (Vat excluded) and ask to ship in belgium it shows:

    bpost as from

    It’s confusing for my customers.

    Dear Didier,

Thank you for the update. So I take into account that the bpost plugin is not in cause regarding translation problems.

Regarding the Free shipping information that is not showed correctly, issue is referenced internally and will be very soon corrected.
