when viewing the search results page the “Date of the result row” (pdate) returns information from the DisplayDate filed. This is the original posting date.

is it possible to have the dispalymodified field returned here instead as it is a more accurate reflection of which page contains new material.

perhpas this function already exists within localization by using a variable other that %s, but I have not been able to find a way to make that work.

This occurs while using plugin ver 12.9 on WordPress v 4.5.3 or 3.9.13

wpsolr is using displaydate, both for showing in results, and for sorting by date.

For compatibility reasons, I cannot change it arbitrarily.

thanks, I disabled Newest/Oldest order settings, and removed the display of the date info in localization.

I appreciate your attention to this issue, and understand that there are reasons beyond my own for the development choices.
