• One of our sites recently changed from http to https:
On this site we archive the newsletters so that members can refer back to them. However the image links were not automatically updated during the move from http to https. We want to go into the old newsletters and edit this but can’t find a way.
Any ideas how to access this code?

  • Hello,

This should only be possible if you edit your newsletters inside your database directly. There’s not an easy way to do this unfortunately.

Thanks for this answer. I was afraid this was the case. No problem we will do it the ‘hard’ way.
Does anyone have a suggestion of a plugin that would do this replace within the database easily. I believe that Duplicator does that when moving a site, but not sure if I can figure out a way to run the site through Duplicator to achieve this.
MailPoet is a great plugin and we are big fans!

The fix was quite easy using a plugin: Better Search Replace. It took about 10 minutes from start to finish.
