"Already Installed" after upgrade to 4.6
-
Firstly, everything I have done here is on my development server – my live site is still happily running 4.5.3.
First Attempt – Automatic Upgrade
Updated all plugins.
Updated wordpress.
After the upgrade completed, i was redirected to – https://xxxx/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F.
The page displays the messageAlready Installed
You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first. When I log in I end up back at the same page.
Second Attempt – Manual Upgrade
Followed the manual update instructions to the letter – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update
Same result.
The manual updates were done via SSH.Site is running Woo Commerce with the Shopkeeper theme from getbowtied, with very minor customisations.
Many thanks for any help.
