    Hi there,

Which prefix does your plugin have in the database? When I try to authenticate a clients site with her GA account, the dropdown keeps showing websites from my own account, which I used first to test the dashboard. Uninstalling the plugin or clearing the cache didn’t work, so the options must be saved in the database and not be eliminated when you uninstall the plugin. Which options do I have to remove through PHPMyAdmin to completely reset the plugin upon reinstalling?

    Thanks,
    Stefaan

The options are currently prefixed with yoast_ and yst_.

Unfortuantely, Yoast’s version of the plugin doesn’t come with a way of clearing the authenticated profile list, and it also doesn’t let you force re-authenticate a new profile list (both of which will be available in our upcoming 6.0 release).

In the meantime, what you can do is install the plugin here, activate it, deactivate it and then remove it. All it does is delete the key used to store those profiles:

Click on the green “Clone or Download” button and then select download Zip, to get the zip file to upload as a WordPress plugin to your site.

I have the same problem, and this reset-plugin did not clear anything. Using latest version of Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights.

The thread you are replying to is 6 months old and the plugin mentioned is for a completely different codebase. Deleting the plugin deletes all of the options.

The problem the user was having no longer exists if you are using the latest version of MI as the whole authentication system works completely differently now.

Well, what can I do? I have the latest WordPress 4.7.2. and Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights 6.0.14. I have deleted and re-installed the plugin many times over and over again, but still my latest profile is not available in the authentication list, because i did authenticate once before i had the newest profile created. The plugin seems to load the old profile list despite of the re-installation.

I did a test of plugin in my other site, and there the plugin after authentication presented full profile list to choose from. So i need to clear the plugin settings from wherever they are being reloaded after uninstalling.

You could try uninstalling MonsterInsights, using a plugin like Options Inspector to delete the one called monsterinsights_get_profiles, and then activating MI again but it’s likely not going to change anything as every time you authenticate, on entering your key that option is removed and then re-added with the new profiles

Yes, did try that Options Inspector and actually removed all the monsterinsights-lines, reinstalled the Monster-plugin and here we are again…every other profile visible on the list, except the one I need.

I can of course add manually the UA code, but that way can’t use the dashboard ??
