An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this

Some theme caused problem after wordpress updated to 4.6 and I was able to sort it out by deleting the theme. Now, when I try to add plugins, I get this screen:

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

It also occurs if I try to browse themes. To rectify it, I deleted my entire database (after taking a backup from phpmyadmin). It did not do anything good. So, I uninstalled wordpress after taking a backup of posts. I installed wordpress again. I have done it three times and I can’t access still.

Worst thing is that I cannot even import my backup through wordpress as installation fails when I try to import my data from tools>import.

I’m so tired, it has been two days. I have no data on my website and I have tried everything. Does anybody have any fix for this?
