How can I control my children ?

I don’t think any of those are what was asked for…. wp_list_cats shows the category LIST…. I think he’s past that point, but when VIEWING the category, sometimes he wants the posts of child cats shown and other times not.
I don’t know if there is a way to do that…. If you get it figured out, let me know, since that’s something I could use.
