Importing MT Issue

  • I installed 1.3-alpha-2 imported from MT 3.01D however upon importing itself following error comes up
    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 27 bytes) in /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-admin/import-mt.php on line 67
    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 0 bytes) in Unknown on line 0
    Note: I have attempted to use import-mt.php from previous builds yet the error persists.
