jquery conflict

hello, i recently had a third party developer require me to add this to my header for jquery so i did using the ‘insert headers and footers’ plugin.

when i did this it ‘broke’ your plugins so i removed it.

can you tell me the proper way to add this so that it wont break your plugins?
