• Without SSL it used to work well but after switching to SSL this plugin causes a lot of headaches and pain.

This is what I get after trying to login:
    A blank screen with this:

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/XXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/siteguard/classes/siteguard-login-alert.php on line 51

    This is very annoying!
Tried to deactivate and delete the plugin and reinstall but no change!
Will be looking for a different plugin to get the login URL renamed.

  • I’m running into the same issue with my website. It’s a mixed content website. I notice Captcha doesn’t work, it appears as broken link, so unable to sign in.

How were you able to remove the plugins? I’m trying to uninstall this plugin. It entirely locked me out of my own website because of the broken link Captcha.

I’m in cpanel trying to go to .php pages to locate the codes to remove this app. Terrible!

Login via FTP and change the name of the folder that contains this plugin.
That will automatically deactivate this plugin.

P.S. In cPanel you can click the “file manager” and then go to:
    public_html > wp-content > plugins
and look for the folder with “siteguard” in its name.
Rename it and you’re good to go.
