• Hi Rene,
on a site of mine that has been neglected for a while all share counts have dropped to zero, i verified through FB Open Graph that there are actually shares on an article, and then followed the rest of the instructions here: https://docs.mashshare.net/article/8-shares-are-not-updating-or-not-accurate

No change in share counts after trying all the steps. No caching plugins are used. Unfortunately I’m not sure when the shares on my articles dropped to zero as i havent been visiting that site for a while.

What struck me: There is absolutely no custom field called mashsb_shares or mashsb_jsonshares present in my installation, neither in my single post admin view or in the database itself. I verified that. The only custom field i can find which seems to be coming from the mashshare plugin is “mashsb_timestamp”. Even after deleting the plugin & all plugin data from the db & doing a fresh install of Mashshare.

I am using the plugin “Advanced Custom Fields”, could this be the reason?

    Plugin versions:
    Mashshare Version 3.2.0
    Advanced Custom Fields 4.4.8
