I’ve taken over a site for a client and struggling to learn the implementation of the preexisting installation and plugins.

Using WPstatistics plugin, I can implement it easily as a widget in any sidebar menus, however the client wants it implemented into the actual body content of the page.

I’m having a difficult time trying to do this and would like to figure out how to insert it as shortcode. This is my first time working with short code and I can’t seem to insert it in a meaningful manner.

The admin manual provides details on the shortcodes available.

If you are looking to embed the graphs in the front end then that is not possible.

I am unable to help with general support on shortcodes, but if you have a specific example that your having problems with you can post it here.

Hey, I got it to work!

Now I’d like to alter the css of the container box. Can I affect the css directly by creating a new attribute and also change attributes in the frontend through the wordpress interface?

Once you have the shortcode working, you should be able to wrap the output in a div or span and style it any way you like.
