Can somebody develop disaple featured image in post/page?

  • Hello, I searched all the plugins availbe at wordpress universe but no one has developed disable featured image on page, post etc.

    I would like to suggest to someone who knows things to develop small plugin tthat adds custom box to page and post under the featured image “Hide featured from page/post”.

    This is needed because many websites have some graphical info on front page but in the actual page we do not need the featured image.

    Also wordpress could develop a new article image and use featured image only in post lists or front page where some info about the page etc.
