Using the wixhotels free plugin

I would be really grateful if someone can clarify what I can get with the free Wix Hotels plugin.
I am trying to build a site that offers 5 holiday apartments in different locations.
The owner has some of these advertised on booking.com, vrbo and airbnb as well.
I am trying to sync one of the apartments (owner has only given me one link so far) with booking.com and I seem to have done that but the bookings are not appearing on my site! – it is still showing all the apartments as available.
I also tried exporting the wix calendar to booking.com – i downloaded the .ics file but it appeared to be taking info from my own private icalendar – oh my goodness!! – but all seems to be ok now – phew.
The question is
1) can i use the free wixhotels plugin for syncing 5 apartments with external booking sites.
2) can I accept bookings from my site with the free plugin.
3) Do i have to create a google or icalendar to work with my wixhotels plugin?
