I can start a new blog hosted by gator and import my data base over.
Is that the only and correct way to da it please

You will need to create a backup of your WordPress database and also copy your WordPress files onto your computer. Then you can upload your copied database and copied files into your new hosting server.

You might be able to get support from Hostgator.

    Thank you Aimeeish..
Do you know the benifits of outside hosting?is your blog hosted by wordpress or ourside?

I bought my own space through another hosting service. That way I can create more sites, instead of using my space just for WordPress.

One benefit of using WordPress without wordpress hosting it is you get your own domain instead of domain.www.ads-software.com, and maybe more storage depending upon your plan.
