Does not work – keep getting configuration error message

  • After wasting 2 hours on this plug in I give up.

    Keep getting the “configure email” warning as described in the support forum. I installed wp smtp as suggested and still doesnt work!
    Tried a number of settings wp mail / php mail etc and email addresses.

    SMTP plug-in works great and my test email was a success but I cant spend anymore time on this Contact form.

    Hello jombie,

    You should install an extra plugin called WP-mail-SMTP and configure
    it. Afterwards you should send a test email from this plugin.
    WP-mail-SMTP sends text message by enforcement. And if the message came to email id doesn’t mean that all settings is correct.
    After message sending, the logs appear on the same WP-mail-SMTP page, which describe errors of the sending.
