adding sidebar.php to a new page

  • Hi All, Need a little help.

    I’ve been coding a new .php page (www.mysite.com/test/newpage.php) and I want the page to include the sidebar.php portion of wordpress. I’ve tried <?php include(‘sidebar.php’); ?> but that doesn’t work.

    So how do I include sidebar.php which is within my theme in: https://www.mysite.com/test/newpage.php

  • I would like the answer to this one too! I am currently using a 1-column theme, which is fine for most of my site. But I want to add one page that has a blog and a sidebar for archives, search, etc. within the blog page.

    How do I set this up?
