Size and Color not sync in variable product

    Hi,

    I’ve mapped the plugin in order to get variation attribute such as Size and Color automatically from products fields but it seems to not working properly on with variable products.

    Here’s one example:

    As you can see whithin the variantion option of the product the plugin doesn’t fill the value Size (“taglia” in italian) or Color from the attribute assigned.

    As I understand, the message (with a red exclamation mark, in a red circle) in Merchant Center informs that due to naming violations the data are being reviewed.

    Hi,

    I’ve already read the documentation provided and i’m doing everything right..

    The message with the red circle doesn’t seems to be the problem here, there are other two orange warning saying that attribute size and color are missing, even if i set it as explained in the KB.

    Hi,

    i don’t understand what i have to change in order to make it work.
    What naming convention should i change? the issue here is not with the product image, is with the attributes Size and Color which are correctly mapped in the plugin setting as shown here: https://snipboard.io/8hlz2d.jpg even tho, they’re not filled automatically in Google Merchant

    As I understand, the Data Source value format seen, for Color, Size, Material, as showcased in your screenshot linked here, need to be edited like so:

    • From pa_colore, to pa-colore
    • From pa_taglia, to pa-taglia
    • From pa_composizione, to pa-composizione

    That’s taxonomy is created automatically from Woo when you add an attribute. How can i change that?

    thanks for this, but i think it doesn’t make sense..
    Why should i need to create a custom taxonomy to manage something that WP manage with it’s core functions?

    I guess you need to fix how your plugin manage core taxonomies and global attributes created by core Woo.

    If it doesn’t work for it shouldn’t work for anyone, am i wrong?

    I stand corrected, as this Google documentation page showcases, the productname_description naming convention is perfectly fine. Google Listings & Ads?requires the use of ASCII/Latin-only characters. If product names, image URLs, or other data syncing to Google has non-ASCII characters, those items will likely be unsupported. As such, the naming convention is fine.

    Size and Color not sync in variable product

    To circle back to the original question, issues will be listed in your Google Listings & Ads product feed and will include all the necessary details, including the affected product name, issue, and suggested action. You can edit products individually or make edits in bulk. Your product feed will be synced automatically once the items are approved.?

    Probably it’s my fault but i think we’re not understanding each other.
    I’m not arguing about the documentation provided and the naming convention that google accept for each field content, my issue is not related to unapproved products or content.

    i’m just highlighting the fact that i’m expecting your plugin working this way: google is expecting a value for each product field, example:

    Size: should be a value such as [M]
    Woocommerce has the same field, in my case: [pa_taglia] Populated with a Value such as [M]

    Since i’m mapping the woocommerce field [pa_taglia] to the google target attribute Size (https://snipboard.io/8hlz2d.jpg) i’m expecting that your plugin is pulling the content from woo and fill it in google merchant in the target attribute Size, in the example value is: [M]
