• Good idea but doesn’t work for all fonts and all browsers. I stopped using it and instead use font-face and local storing of fonts. 100% reliable in all browsers.

  • Hmmm… I think at this point, Google fonts should work on all modern browsers. Google fonts is using @font-face, just with a remote call to Google. My take—if your server can reach Google.com, you should be fine.

    Not sure what was the problem but it worked randomly. In IE old versions but not new versions. Did not work in Firefox at all and in chrome it worked for one font but not the other do I gave up. Having it all locally fixed the problems so I am assuming to reaching was not consistent.

    So then would this mean that your 3-star review really pertains to Google’s Web Fonts service and not to this particular plugin? Just want to be clear.

    Not necessarily. I have never gotten any response or support on this plugin. I have then downloaded the relevant Google fonts to my database to have them all locally and it worked 100%.
