• Not sure what some of these folks are complaining about. I thought what the plug-in did for free was extremely valuable but needed the additional features. So I did not see features getting stripped during an upgrade since my version was paid. Other than some sorting/reporting weaknesses that are likely easily remedied so sales teams can more easily report and track, I think this is a completely viable solution to ad management. If author continues to grow it, he may have an enterprise level solution on his hands.

    Please keep up the great work!

    Thanks for your kind words.

    And indeed the aim is to keep improving the plugin with great new features.

    For the next release, geo-targeting.

    Ideas to explore later this year;
    (No promises, but some ideas to try and experiment with)
    – Paypal system for selling ads.
    – More extensive statistics.
    – More Advertiser options.
    – Overhaul of the admin dashboard.
    and many more…

    Enough to do and add to keep improving the plugin. ??

    Wow! You’re adventurous. ?? A merchant/gateway integration would be a lot to patch into this. Maybe causing bloat? Most people who are selling ads already have a system in place… BUT new properties/projects might find them useful.

    Thanks for the reply.

    See it as an extension to current advertiser features.
    A few people suggested I add this… But if you think about it it’s as brilliant as it is useful.

    Imagine;
    20 advertisers, all have 2-3 ads. And you charge them per month or per quarter.

    Would you rather email them all, negotiate new terms and bill them accordingly or would you have them log in and click on “renew” where they pay for a new period. You could just sit back and watch the money stream in ??

    ermm…
    i still have the old free version running, and i can assure you, charvan, that features have been stripped out. or better, you can only get them if you pay the price.
    not sure if/how they’ve been improved in the pro version, but i’d have kept those free and added upon them for a price.
    but that’s just me, the author is, of course, free to do as he likes, but it’s only fair, i think, if someone does not agree with his style of doing things.
    nothing against the plugin, a great piece of work (at least what i could try out back in the good ol’days ;), but the WP star system does not help discerning…
